Livinia Estrada Causin Ducay (1921 - 1961) Livinia his known to her family as Libing. She was born in the province of Barili, Philippines on the island of Cebu. She was the youngest of eleven children born to Procopio Cousin and Maria Estrada Noel. Her brothers and sisters are Vincente, Rosa, Elena, Mercedes Felisa, Purificacion, Eulalia, Jose and Dympna. She was married to Eufemio Dozono Ducay. Livinia arrived in America in 1948 with help of a friend named Wilimina Aliga and the Aliga family. She helped the U.S. during the Japanese invasion of the Philippines in 1943 - 1945. She was one of the first Filipina Nurse (R.N.) to work at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo, California in 1947. She lived in Vallejo, California until her unexpected death in 1961 due to an aneurysm. She has three Children, six grand children and five great grand children.
